BBST 704 - Work of Biblical Narrative3 credits The Bible’s narratives are some of the most enduring and powerful stories in Western civilization. This course is devoted to familiarizing ourselves with the contents and functions of a number of narrative selections from the Bible’s literary repertoire, with special attention to the social, cultural, political, and theological work these texts might have done in their ancient contexts and continue to do in contemporary culture.
